How can I delete an “Ask a Relative” request after it has been sent?

You can delete an outgoing “Ask a Relative” alert only if it has not yet been responded to. In other words, only “Outgoing-Pending” alerts can be deleted. “Outgoing-Responded” alerts cannot be deleted.

To cancel an unaddressed “Ask a Relative” request, follow these steps:

1. Login to your FamilyVault account.
2. Click the “Alert” icon at the top right corner of the page (the bell shaped icon).
3. Click “Outgoing-Pending”, find the alert that you wish to resend, then click “Delete”.

Once the recipient has addressed your request, you can no longer cancel the request.
